1. Return Eligibility

We offer a 30-day return window, beginning from the date your item is marked as "delivered" by the shipping carrier's tracking system. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. You will also need your order number and receipt or proof of purchase.

Items sent back to us without first requesting and receiving return authorization will not be accepted.

1.1 Non-Returnable Items

DIY tabs that have been used or applied cannot be returned. If you receive tabs that are damaged or you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a refund or replacement before applying the tabs.

2. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, contact us at support@northstarvfr.com with your order number. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to ship your return. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and will not be reimbursed.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method for the full value of the goods, minus any shipping fees originally paid. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

4. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please initiate a return for the original item and place a new order for the item you'd like instead.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at support@northstarvfr.com as soon as possible. We ask that you document any damage with photos so we can evaluate the issue and arrange a refund or replacement.

6. Package Returned to Sender

If your package is returned to us by the shipping carrier, we will contact you via email to arrange re-delivery.

  • Customer error (e.g., incorrect or incomplete address): The customer is responsible for paying a reshipment fee, typically the cost of a new shipping label. Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order. If you notice an error after placing your order but before it ships, you can update your address through your order confirmation email.
  • Carrier error: If the package was returned due to a confirmed carrier error, we will reship your order at no additional cost.

If we are unable to reach you or do not receive a response, a refund will be issued for the value of the goods minus any shipping costs originally paid by Northstar Aviation References.
