Northstar Aviation References ("we," "us," and "our") is the operator of https://northstarvfr.com ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement, setting mutual expectations for our service.

All orders are subject to stock availability. We strive to maintain accurate stock counts on our Website. If an item is out of stock, it will be unavailable for purchase until we are able to replenish inventory.

2. Domestic Shipping Only

Northstar Aviation References ships to addresses within the United States only, including P.O. boxes and military (APO/FPO/DPO) addresses. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

P.O. box and military addresses are shipped via USPS only. Courier services are not available for these locations.

3. Shipping Methods, Costs & Processing Times

All orders ship Monday through Friday, excluding major U.S. holidays.

Priority, 2nd Day Air, and Overnight methods exclude weekends and holidays for both processing and delivery.

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Delivery Timeframe Disclaimer

All processing and delivery timeframes listed above are estimates and are not guaranteed by Northstar Aviation References. While we make every effort to meet these timeframes, actual delivery times may vary due to carrier performance, order volume, holidays, weather, or other factors beyond our control. Northstar Aviation References is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

4.2 Items Out of Stock

If an item in your order is out of stock, we will dispatch all in-stock items immediately and ship the remaining items once they return to stock.

4.3 Delivery Time Exceeded

If your delivery time has exceeded the estimated timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier on your behalf.

4.4 Inclement Weather Delays

Packages delayed due to inclement weather are outside the control and responsibility of Northstar Aviation References. Shipping fees cannot be refunded for weather-related delays.

4.5 Package Returned to Sender

If the shipping carrier is unable to deliver your package and it is returned to us, we will contact you via email to arrange re-delivery.

  • Customer error (e.g., incorrect or incomplete address): The customer is responsible for paying a reshipment fee, typically the cost of a new shipping label. Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order. If you notice an error after placing your order but before it ships, you can update your address through your order confirmation email.
  • Carrier error: If the package was returned due to a confirmed carrier error, we will reship your order at no additional cost.

If we are unable to reach you or do not receive a response, a refund will be issued for the value of the goods minus any shipping costs originally paid by Northstar Aviation References.

5. Order Changes & Cancellations

5.1 Order Modifications

We will do our best to accommodate order modifications (such as item changes or additions) up until the shipping label has been printed. However, we cannot guarantee that modifications can be made. Once an order has shipped, any unwanted items must be returned by the customer in accordance with our return policy, and return shipping costs will apply.

5.2 Change of Delivery Address

We are able to update your delivery address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

5.3 Cancellations

We accept cancellations at any time before an order has been dispatched. If your order has already shipped, please refer to our return policy.

6. Tracking

Upon dispatch, you will receive a tracking link via email from which you can follow the progress of your shipment based on updates provided by the shipping carrier.

7.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind

We accept returns due to change of mind provided a return request is received within 30 days of delivery and the item is returned in its original packaging, unused, undamaged, and in resellable condition. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Once the return is received and accepted, a refund will be processed to your original payment method for the value of the goods only — original shipping costs will not be refunded.

7.2 Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged in transit or you discover a product defect upon opening your package, please contact us at support@northstarvfr.com as soon as possible. If possible, please reject the parcel from the carrier at the time of delivery. In all cases, we ask that you document the damage with photos and send them to us. We will work with you to arrange a refund or replacement.

8. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value stated by the shipping carrier.

8.1 Damaged in Transit

We will process a refund or replacement once the carrier has completed its investigation into the damage claim.

8.2 Lost in Transit

We will process a refund or replacement once the carrier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
